Rosalie A. Bauer

Rosalie A. Bauer, age 80 of Hastings died January 8, 2013 at Regina Assisted Living. Rosalie was born February 11, 1932 to George and Rose (Taube) Landsberger near New Trier. She attended rural schools and married Leo J. Bauer on November 15, 1950 in New Trier. She farmed with husband Leo their entire life in Marshan Township. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leo; infant twin sons; granddaughter Marissa Bauer; sister Delores Peine; brother George, Jr. Rosalie is survived by her eleven children Glen (Nancy), Peggy (Mike) Knoll, and Leo Jr. (Joannie), all of Hastings, Ernie (Dorothy) of Sauk Centre, MN, Charlie (Bev) of Hastings, Kenny (Mary) of Plum City, WI, Leroy (Sharon) of Welch, Francis (Sharon) of Portland, ME, Dave (Corina) and Kevin (Sue) of Hastings, Mary Bauer (Pat Tripp) of Dundas, MN; also 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister Irene Smith and brother Frank (Vicki) Landsberger of Hampton. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Cole Kracke and Fr. Martin Siebenaler will be held at Noon Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings with visitation after 10 AM Saturday at church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers are Mark, Randy, Jake, Jason, Frederick, Kevin Jr., Eric, and Isaac Bauer.
