Ronald K Rostad

Ronald K. Rostad, “It’ll all work out” Age 60 of Minneapolis, formerly of Duluth, “the Norwegian Riviera” born May 15, 1948 to Walter & Laurine, passed away October 13, 2008. Ron was a 1966 graduate of Roosevelt High School, served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Riley, KS, and upon his retirement from Rainbow Foods as Comptroller, he and Barbara moved to Duluth where Ron was employed by CW Technology. He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; brother, Rodger; parents; and dog, Brandi. Ronald is survived by his loving companion, Karen and her daughter, Stephanie; sister-in-law, Mary Rostad; Goddaughter, Paige Christina; uncle, Emil; nieces; nephews; cousins and a myriad of lifelong friends. Ron was known for being fun loving, an avid outdoorsman, an animal lover, and a rock and roll enthusiast. He was a kind and loving man who will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. with visitation one hour before. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
