Ronald T. Erlandson, age 90, of Apple Valley, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025.
Ron was a man of creativity, adventure, and heart. A proud United States Air Force veteran, he served honorably while stationed at George Air Force Base in the Mojave Desert. His love for life was evident in everything he did—from his passion for hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors, to his remarkable talent as an artist. Ron loved to draw and paint, capturing the beauty he saw around him. Ever the adventurer, he even went skydiving at the age of 75, proving his zest for life never waned.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Yvonne; and brother, Harold “Skip” Erlandson.
Ron is survived by his daughters, Teresa “Teri” Perry, Laurie (Aaron) Ham, Michelle (Ken) Larsen, and Kristine Erlandson (Jesse); his six grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Starkson Family Anderson Chapel, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley. A gathering of family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Ron will be remembered for his warmth, humor, artistic spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him.
