Ronald A., age 78 of Minneapolis, MN, passed away peacefully on April 27th, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Ruth Zillgitt. Ronald is survived by his children, Gregory (Pam) and Michele (Bob) Swanson; 4 grandchildren, Jenny, Missy, Josh and Joe; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Park; nephew, Bradley; and friends. He was a man of many interests and talents who loved music and art, a brilliant mathematician and long time employee of the U of M. Funeral service Tuesday, May 3, at 11:30 AM in the Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, MN with his visitation one hour prior to the service in the Mortuary. Interment Ft Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
