Rolf H. Bogen

Age 74 of Virginia, MN formerly of South Minneapolis, born April 29, 1945 in Norway to Oskar and Lilly Bogen, passed away December 24, 2019.  Rolf was a member of the Sons of Norway, the Norwegian National League and a trustee at Mindekirken, Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Ch.  He also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a member of the Mt. Iron American Legion.  He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.  Rolf will be dearly missed by his sister, Elsa (Charles) Carlson; niece and nephew, Teri and Mike; grandnieces, Helena and Sarah; nieces and nephews in Norway: Linda, John, and David; and many more grand-nieces and nephews, family and friends.  Funeral service, 11:00AM, Saturday, January 4, 2020 with visitation one hour before at Mindekirken, Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church, 924 East 21^st St., Minneapolis.  Rolf will be laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
