Robert William "Bill" Corgan

Robert William “Bill” Corgan, 82, passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005. Born Feb. 22, 1923 in Houghton, MI, Bill lived a life of service: to his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, to his fraternal brothers in the F.O.E., and to countless others through his mechanical skills. He met the challenges of declining health with strength and dignity. He was preceded in death by son, Bill and siblings: Adaline, Andrew, Francis, Josephine, Charlotte, Patrick, and John. He will be missed by his wife, Verna; siblings: Elsie, Norah, Dan, and Joe; children: Verna C. (Jeff Adams), Virginia (Ron Rengel), Robert “Cori” (Judee Zasada), and Tiffany (Norman King); grandchildren: David Rengel (Kellogg), Peter Hames (Lori Green), David Corgan, Catherine King, Vanessa King, Alex King, Teddy Corgan, and Jillian Corgan; and great-grandchildren, Gina and Tyler Green. Memorial service, 11 AM, Wed., Oct. 12 at The Church of St. Albert the Great, 2836 33rd Avenue South, Minneapolis, with visitation one hour before at the church and luncheon following.
