Age 65 of Rosemount, passed away on Feb. 4, 2017. Preceded in death by mother, Ramona; sister, Jean. Survived by wife, Vicki; children, Candace (Chris Wenger) Hildebrandt, Kelly (Wade) Thurman, Heather (Mary) McCarl, Paul (Sarah) Way and Holly (Chris) Olson; 11 grandchildren, Logan, Evan, Jake, Sophie, Cate, Sam, Jaeden, Violet, Katarina, Aubrey and Charlie; father, James; brothers, Paul (Elaine) and Edward (Ginny); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His lifelong love of architecture led to a career in the construction industry as an estimator. He found joy in seeing a building grow from beginning to end. Robert enjoyed stamp collecting, learning about history, golfing and everything trains, but most of all spending time with his wonderful family. Memorial Service at 11am on Sat., Feb. 11, 2017 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.JDRF.org).
