Robert D Munson

Munson, Robert D, age 78, of Webster WI and Hastings MN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, May 1, 2016. Robert was born In South Sioux City, Nebraska, on September 10, 1937. Following graduation from high school, he served a tour of duty in the U.S. Air Force. Bob was employed over 33 years as a Radiology Techician at Regina Memorial Hospital in Hastings MN. He truly loved living in the Webster area near the lake. Bob will truly be missed. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Jeanne (nee: Phaneuf) Munson; 3 children: Michelle (Stephen) Stearns, Michael (Barbara) Munson, Dale (Jodi) Munson; grandchildren: Thomas, Seth and Matthew Johnson, Joseph (Courtney), Justin, Jacob, Jonathan, Jailyn Munson, Casey (Mutsue), Matthew, Jon (Laura), Ashley Lott. Great grandchildren: Annie, Caleb, Chloe, JJ, Nolan and Leyla. He is also survived by a brother Harold Munson and 2 nieces: Kim Burchell and Kelly Fluharty. Bob is preceded in death by his parents: Mary Pearl (nee: Reed) and Sherman Ole Munson. The memorial service honoring the life of Bob Munson will be conducted at 3 pm (visitation 1 to 3 pm) on Saturday, May 7th, 2016, at Wise Funeral Home , 400 Spring St., Hastings MN, with Jason Peterson officiating. Fellowship dinner following at the American Legion in Hastings.
