Robert A. Stark

Robert A. Stark, age 75, of Hastings, passed away at home April 25, 2022. He was born on March 29, 1947 in Hastings to William and Elvira (Hoffman) Stark. Bob attended college in River Falls from 1966- 1968 majoring in Social Science and History. Following his college years, Bob was drafted in the Navy where he was stationed on the USS Midway in Vietnam. He retired from 3M Aviation in 2006 after more than 27 years. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Stark; and by his brother-in-law, Thomas Pechacek. He is survived by his siblings, John W. (Karen) Stark, William B. Jr. (Debra) Stark, Thomas C. (Julie) Stark, Kenneth R. Stark, Sharon Pechacek, and Judy D. (Herbert Jr.) Steinke; and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A Traditional Latin Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 408 3rd St. N. in South St. Paul. A visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at church, Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Cemetery in Hastings. A reception will be held at 4:00 pm at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. A special Thank you to Jennifer McKinney who Bob considered his personal Doctor.
