Rita Marie Adamson, 88, of Apple Valley, passed away Monday surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 9, 1924 in Chicopee Falls, Mass. to Harold Edward and Alexandrene (nee Theerian) Browne. Rita served her country in the United States Army during the Korean War, and her family as a totally loving and involved mother. Her high energy, gift of song, and humor will be greatly missed. Rita will be forever loved and treasured. She is survived by daughters Gail (Frank) Giella, Patricia Hanson, Kelly (Tyrone) Willems, and Kerry (Edward) Renk, son Michael (Marilyn) Adamson, 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.Visitation is scheduled for 4-7 PM Thursday, February 28 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, (952) 432-2331, and 1 hour prior to an 11 AM Funeral Service, Friday, March 1 at Berean Baptist Church, 309 East County Road 42, Burnsville. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
