Rita L. Moffet

Rita L. Moffet, age 87 of Hastings died June 28, 2013 at Regina Assisted Living. Rita was born January 2, 1926 in Hastings to John and Estelle (Dodds) Kummer. She was a 1943 graduate of Hastings High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Mary Ramus and Lola Schoen. Rita is survived by her sons Greg (Christine) and Tim Moffet, both of Vail, CO; brother John (Kathy) Kummer of Hastings; granddaughters Molly and Bridget Moffet; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The Memorial Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West 15th St., Hastings with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
