Rita A. Wells

Rita A. Wells, age 77, of Welch, passed away January 23, 2018 at Red Wing Health Center. She was born on August 29, 1940 to John & Frances (Knoll) Reinardy in Hastings. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1958. Rita married her long time partner, Vine Wells in 2006. She loved crocheting, plants, and being outside. She also enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Las Vegas and Branson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vine; son, John Jacobson; siblings, Marlene “Sue”; Patty Jane; Robert “Noose”. Rita is survived by her children, Sue (Joe) Taylor; Jeff Wells; Mike Jacobson; Bob Jacobson; grandchildren, Laura Taylor; Sheila Wells; Tasha Taylor-Brock; Shawna Wells; Anthony Wells; Shawn Taylor; Gavin Wells; Kayden Wells; Jeff Wells, Jr.; Liana Wells; Derrick (Dawn) Jacobson; Addison Jacobson; Kari Jacobson-Blank; Cole Jacobson; Ellie Jacobson; siblings, Cindy (Tom) Remke; Raymond (Bonnie) Reinardy; LeRoy “PeeWee” (Rita) Reinardy; sister in law, Rosie Knoll; brother in law, Bob Boothe; many more loving family members. Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Gordon Gathright, will be held Fri (1/26) 12:00 noon at Wise Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 400 Spring St., Hastings.
