Rick Richard Smith

Richard 'Rick' Smith, age 52, of Hastings, passed away November 4, 2009 at Red Wing Health Center. He was born December 12, 1956 to Ralph and Virginia 'Ginger' Smith in St. Paul, MN. He married Ann Schmitt on May 7, 1982 in Hastings. He is preceded in death by wife, Ann Smith; father-in-law, Milo Schmitt. Rick is survived by his children, Kelly Smith of LaCrosse, WI; Megan Smith of Hastings; parents, Ralph & Virginia 'Ginger' Smith; siblings, Cynthia Tatu of Elk River; Julie Kelley of Cottage Grove; Paul Smith of Red Wing; Jeanne Thompson of Excelsior; mother-in-law, Jeanne Schmitt of Hastings; other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday (11/9), 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church.
