Richelle R. Cokley

Richelle Cokley, age 54 of Hastings, died suddenly at home on April 18, 2019. Richelle Renee, the daughter of Arther and Diane (Smith) Brier, was born on August 11, 1964, in Hastings. Following her graduation from Park High School with the class of 1982, Richelle continued her education in nursing. Over her career, she was a CNA and LPN and had studied to become a RN. Richelle loved animals, especially her cats. She had a big heart, a great sense of humor, and always had a gentle personality. Richelle loved her time spent with family. She especially loved going up north, and spending time with her two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph. Richelle is survived by her children, Jesse Cokley, and Beth (Troy) Fuchs; grandchildren, Adrian and Kairos; parents, Art and Diane Brier; siblings, John (Paige) Brier and James Brier; dear friend, Angie; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019, at The Harbor Church, 11125 West Pt Douglas Rd., Hastings, with a gathering one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel in Hastings.
