Richard W. Carlsen

Carlsen, Richard “Dick” W. age 86 of Minneapolis, born December 12, 1919 in Fargo, ND, passed away September 25, 2006. Dick was an officer and life member of the Painters Local # 386 and a member of the Zuhrah Shrine. Preceding him in death are his wife, Mildred and sons-in-law, Butch and Lonnie. Dick is survived by his children: Barbara Norenberg, Karen Isaacs, Richard Jr. (Sharon), Don (Mary) and Darlene (Tom) Umphrey; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 2 great- great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Carlsen, and Betty (Shep) Lee and many other family and friends. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., Mpls. Visitation is 5 – 8 p.m., Wednesday at the mortuary, and also one hour before the service. Interment Ft. Snelling.
