We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Richard Duane Platson Jr. who passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2025 at the age of 73.
Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched many lives with his warmth, humor, and kindness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; his children, Pamela (Dan) Thrun and Bruce (Christina) Platson; as well as Sherry's children, Hank, Tony, Chris and their spouses. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lovingly knew him as "Papa."
We welcome all family and friends to come share memories, stories, and laughter as we honor and remember this wonderful man.
Please join us on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Eagles in Hastings as we celebrate a beautiful life well-lived and say farewell to Papa.
