Richard M. Klein

Klein, Richard M., age 73, of Hastings, a retired supervisor with 3-M Chemolite, died 12/04/07. Richard was preceded by his parents Ben & Gertrude; brothers Lawrence, Raymond, Ben, & Donald; sister Mitzie Klein; and daughter-in-law Diane Klein. He is survived by his wife Barbara; children Thomas (Maureen Kochendorfer) Klein, Michael (Kimberly) Klein, and Gretchen (Thomas) Fenenga; also 9 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild; and sister Karleen Peine. Richard was a HHS graduate, class of 1952; he was an avid hunter, fisherman, & gardener who loved all types of sports. A favorite passtime was taking a walk along the Mississippi River to watch eagles and observe nature. The funeral service�will be held at 10am Friday at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, with military honors provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Thursday 12/06/07 at the CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. 7th St. Hastings; and 1 hour prior to Friday service at church. #651- 437-9419
