Richard L. Ginther

Richard L. Ginther, age 66, of Hastings, MN, passed away on July 12th, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong excavator, carpenter, and all-around handy man. Most of all he loved spending time with his family (wife, children and grandchildren) as well as hosting friends and family at the cabin. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Joseph; mother, Catherine; brother, Joseph; and sister, Susan. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Shawn and Matt; and two grandchildren, Grant(Shawn) and Charles(Matt); 8 siblings, Mariann Warner of Hastings, Gene Ginther of Cannon Falls, Luci (Geoff) Raison of Texas, Thomas(Laura) Ginther, Dianne(Tim) Kelly, Donna(Joe) Lorentz all from Hastings, Steve(Judy) Ginther of Washington state and Marge(Lee Johnson) of Hastings. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 18 at 4:00 pm at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
