Sampson, Richard J.

Age 102 of Rosemount (formerly of Duluth), went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 9th, 2020.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Annabelle; brother, Eugene; and sister, Margery Hart.

Survived by his wife, Florence; son, John (Peggy); grandchildren, Stefani (Nick) Jensen, Kendra and Ashley (Justin) Hauge; great-grandchildren, Paige, Amelia, Gavin, Garrett, Quinn and Blake; step-children, Karen Boese, Tim Boese and Cindy (Phillip) Ostby; step-grandchildren, Brandon, Jacob, Becca and Mathew; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Richard was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force. He was an auto mechanic for most of his lifetime. Richard loved to whittle and carve wood. He had a very strong faith and enjoyed teaching bible studies.

A private family service will be held for Richard. Interment will be at Sunset Cemetery in Minneapolis.
