Richard J. Lyness

Richard (Dick) Lyness , age 93 of Hastings and formerly of Eagan passed away on September 3rd, 2022.

Richard served in the Navy and was proud to be a veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling to Northern Minnesota to visit Mike and Kathy. He was a big Minnesota Vikings fan. Richard was a great father, husband and friend.

His wife Velma (Jeanie) of 68 years passed away in 2020. He is survived by his children JoAnn (Mike), Jim (Deb), Mike (Kathy) and John (Fanny). He was blessed with seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and his sister Pat (Gary) DeJoy.

A celebration of life for both Richard and Velma will be held at a later date.
