Iverson, Richard I.
Age 86 of Minneapolis, passed away 3-19-2016. Born 3-30-1929 on a farm near Brooten, MN to Ingvald & Ida (Haugen) Iverson. Retired employee of Sears on Lake St. in Mpls. and St. Paul. Preceded in death by parents; brothers: Milo (Lillian) & Leslie (Rosella); sister: Ione (Orvin) Grundseth; brother-in-law: Herman Philipsen & Robert Madsen; son-in-law: James Peterson; and grandson: David. Survived by wife of 63 years: Monica; children: Ellen Peterson & Scott (Danielle) Iverson; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandsons; sisters: Helen Philipsen & Lillian Madsen; many nieces, nephews; other family and friends. Funeral services Thursday, 12:30 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. with visitation one hour before. Private burial at Fort Snelling at a later date.
Burial Date March 24, 2016
with visitation one hour before the service.
