Richard E. Stein

Richard E. Stein, age 74, of Hastings, passed away at home June 23, 2020. He was born in Plum City, WI on February 22, 1946 to Harold and Frances (Weberg) Stein. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, his cabin, and spending time with his family. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marie; daughters, Jacqueline (Matthew) Bechel, and Lori Owen; grandchildren, Justin Stein, Jacob Stein, Zachary Prebe, LaTeisha Stein and Hailey Bechel; great grandchildren, Maxwell Grotz, Wyatt Hicks, and Chloe Hicks; siblings, Barbara (Lyle) Redlich, Raymond Stein, Marshall (Nancy) Stein, Ardis (Donald) Marquis, and Robert Stein; sister in law, Victoria Stein; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Stein; parents; siblings, Marie (Ralph) Rundquist, Jeanette (Allen) Aubert, James Stein, Duane Stein, Cameron Stein and Dale Stein. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings. A gathering will be held one hour prior to the service. Private Interment, Maiden Rock Cemetery.
