Richard C. Cordes, age 75, of Hastings died Friday, September 19, 2008. Richard is preceded in death by his wife Ramona (Story).He is survived by his children, John (Barb) Cordes of Eagan, Cindy (Rob) Schaffer of St Paul, Sandy (Tim) Nelson of Faribault, Suzanne (Duane) Benik of Burnsville, Kathy Cordes of St. Paul, Jackie (Keith) Sauber of Savage, Debbie Pogue of Maplewood, Jeanne (Bezer) Colaizy of St. Paul;20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister Joyce (Dick) Zywiec of Cottage Grove, a brother-in-law Dick (Bess) Story of Woodbury.The visitation for Richard Cordes will be held on Monday, September 22nd at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home from 4-8pm, and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. The Funeral Mass will be heldat9:30 amTuesday, September 23rd at the ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St. in Hastings. Interment with military honors will follow at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
