Richard passed away on September 3, 2008 at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings. Survived by sons, Mark (Mira) Simonson and Roy (Cindy) Simonson; 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2008 at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church 900 Stillwater Road in Mahtomedi. A private family interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
