Raymond M. "Ray" Bleichner

Raymond M. "Ray" Bleichner, age 75, of Hastings, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by loving family, on Friday, September 7, 2018, at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Raymond Michael was born April 2, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN to Raymond J. and Dorothy (Hodgman) Bleichner. He was a graduate of Richfield High School. Ray was a trucker for many years for various companies. He was married to Judy Bateman on April 26, 1975 in Richfield, MN. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Judy Haverkamp. Raymond is survived by his wife Judy, a daughter Donna Rose of Palo Alto, CA; a son David Schimelpfenig of Burnsville, MN; 2 granddaughters Sara Arora and Emily Krenz; 2 sisters Peggy Geerling and Patty Flippin; and a brother Gary Bleichner. The Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Robert Grissom, will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Berean Bible Baptist Church of Hastings,18355 Red Wing Blvd., Hastings, MN. A Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
