Raymond J. Doffing

Raymond J. Doffing; age 63; of Prescott, WI, formerly of Hastings, MNpassed away on Saturday, 1/26/08. Raymond was preceded in death by his birth mother Elizabeth (Serres) and father Joseph A. Doffing. Raymond was born 11/10/1944 in St. Paul. He was a 1963 graduate of Hastings High School and a VFW member in Prescott. He is survived by his mother Jane Doffing of Cottage Grove; children Brian (Cindy) Doffing of Roseville and Jennifer (Martin) Smith of Rochester; grandchildren Montana and Summer Smith, Logan and Connor Doffing, and expected grandson; siblings Bonnie (Dave) Langeslay of Stevens Point, WI, Joan (Ray) Riedle of Luck, WI, Diane (Ted) Ward of Sommerset, WI, Mike (Lonnie) Doffing and Patti (Harold) Kowalski all of Center City, also Jayne Rath, Tom Rath of Las Vegas, NV, and Tim Rath of Maple Grove; many nieces, nephews, friends, and good friend Rose. A Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Linda Lund will be held 10:30AM Friday, 2/1/08 at CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings with visitation 6-8 PM Thursday and also 1 hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
