Ralph S. Hallberg
Age 84 of Bloomington, born April 1, 1931 in Minneapolis to Rudolph and Signe Hallberg, passed away December 27, 2015. Ralph served in the USMC during the Korean War, was a member of Minnehaha Masonic Lodge #165 and Zurah Shrine, 62 year member Local #386 IPAT, 23 year paint department foreman, Fairview Southdale Hospital and a founding member of the Fairview Foundation. He is also a benefactor to the Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church, Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, Salvation Army and the Animal Humane Society of Hennepin Co. Ralph is survived by his cousins: Vernon Parell and friend Joanne Spencer, Carol (John) Weiland and good friend Janae Miller. A memorial service will be held 10:00am, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Mpls. Ralph was privately laid to rest with military honors at Lakewood Cemetery near his parents. Memorials may be made to donor’s choice.
