Ralph C. Fendrick

Ralph C. Fendrick, age 95, of Hastings died February 13, 2010 at Regina Nursing Home.Ralph was born February 5, 1915 in Clements, MN to Rudolph and Zelpha (Smith) Fendrick. He was united in marriage to Fern O. Fuhr on January 2, 1937 in New Ulm, MN. Prior to his retirement he was a truck driver for the State of MN Highway Department.He was preceded in death by his parents; sons Paul and Wayne; wife Fern; 1 brother and 2 sisters. Ralph is survived by his children Richard (Mary) Fendrick of Stoughton, WI, Marilyn (Charles) Hoffman of Hastings, Gary (Suzanne) Fendrick of Cannon Falls; daughter in law Bonnie Fendrick of Hastings; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and1 great great grandchild.The Funeral Service,officiated by Rev. David Reiter,will be held 11AM Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, 602 Vermillion Street, Hastings. The visitation will be 4-8PM Monday at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh Street, Hastings, and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tom Fendrick, Bob Fendrick, Jake Fendrick, Mike Fendrick, Jeff Hoffman, and Steve Hoffman.
