Phyllis M. Peterson(nee Sheady)
Age 92 of Eagan, born March 26, 1924 in Minneapolis to John & Hildur Sheady, passed away peacefully with her family by her side February 4, 2017. Phyllis was a founding member of the Edgewater Baptist Church, Mpls. She also loved singing with the Keewaydin Mother Singers of South Minneapolis. Most of all Phyllis loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by her sons: Gary (Judy), Tom (Shari) and Richard (Julie); grandchildren: Luke (Amanda), Jeff (Tara), Emily and Hannah; great-grandchildren: Jack, Harlow and Vincent. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; grandson, Andy; brother, Jack Sheady and sister, Jean Grudem. Funeral service, 10:30 AM, Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 with a visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Phyllis will be laid to rest with her husband, Robert at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made.
