Philip Teats

Philip Teats, age 61, of Hastings, passed away August 20, 2009 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was born February 12, 1948 in Austin, MN to Cleo and Caroline Teats. Philip married Kathleen Dorman on December 8, 1973 in Hopkins, Minnesota. He could fix anything and everything and was known to start projects but never was able to finish them. He loved camping, spending time with his grandkids and he loved to tinker with cars. Philip also loved his dogs and gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joann Williamson. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Kelly (Herschel) Phillips of Excelsior, Ronald (Noi) Teats of Salinas, CA, Danielle Surprison (Teri), Bryan (Erin) Teats of Cottage Grove, Robert (Joy) Teats of Welch, Kristina (Steven) Klebe of Hastings; grandchildren, Brandon; Amanda; Justin; Jessica; Caleb; Cody; Kaylynne; Jaiden; Brock; and Paige; brother, George ( Lucille) Teats of West St. Paul; sister, Norma Lange of Pennsylvania; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Service, officiated by Gordon Gathright, will be Tuesday (8/25), 11:00 a.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. Visitation, Monday (8/24), from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to service on Tues. Arrangements are with the Wise Family Funeral Home.
