Philip J. LaFrance, “Phil”
Age 51 of Apple Valley, born Feb. 4, 1963 in Duluth, MN to William and Alice “Sally” LaFrance, lost his battle with depression April 4, 2014. He passed his love of airplanes and how things work to his children and grandson. Phil served his country in the USMC during the Gulf War and was a member of the Northfield American Legion. He is preceded in death by his father, William; brothers, Kevin and Gary, and sister, Susan. Phil will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Donna; children: Danielle, Dusty and Mitchell; grandson, Eli; mother, Alice “Sally”; siblings: Steven (Jeanne), Jeanine (Norm) Hubbard, Kevin, William, and Ann Louise (Dan) Ogg and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00am, with visitation one hour before, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 E Co. Rd. 42 in Burnsville. Phil will be laid to rest at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
