Paul T. Twomey

Paul Thomas Twomey, age 85, of Apple Valley, MN passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at his residence. Paul was born in St. Paul, MN to George Twomey and Helen Fitzgerald Twomey on October 24, 1939. He grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Cretin-Derham Hall. He studied carpentry at TVI and worked as a self-employed carpenter for 35 years. He then drove a bus nine years for Metro Transit. Paul spent his retirement RVing to Texas, volunteering his carpentry skills in Texas State Parks, which included building several types of birdhouses.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth of 52 years; daughters, Martha and Sheila; son, Matthew (Monique); grandchildren, Jasmine, Arianna, Ian, Jace and Landon; his brother, Mark (Judy); and many other family members including: Joe (Annette), Jon (Cindy) Lisa (Miguel) and nine grand-nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend gratitude to Minnesota Hospice.

A memorial service for Paul will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Starkson Family ~ Anderson Chapel, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, MN, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
