Applequist, Paul I.
Age 86 of Minneapolis, born November 20, 1930 in Vasa Township, MN to August & Hulda Applequist, passed away January 13, 2017. Paul was a 68 year member of the Gustavus II Adolphus Society, served in the US Navy and owned Applequist Insurance for many years. However, more important to Paul were his family and all the friendships he developed over the years. Paul was a good friend to many. He is preceded in death by 8 siblings. A loving husband, dad, grandpa and brother, Paul will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 60 years, Janet; children: Teri (Randy) Mann, Cindy (Jim) Trousdale, John (Jane) and Gary (Lisa); grandchildren: Andy, Eric, Roger, Greg, Ross, Alex, Emily, Reid, Jenny, Jack and Maddie; sister, Violet; brother, Leroy and numerous other family and friends. Memorial service, 2:00pm, Friday, January 20, 2017, with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lebanon Lutheran Church.
