Paul C. Urberg

Paul C. Urberg, age 76, of Minneapolis, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec 6, 2021 after a struggling with nerve degeneration for 43 years. (since 1978). Paul was born on March 13, 1945, to Sigurd and Amy Urberg. He was a 1963 graduate of Mahnomen High Schools, and 1964 graduate of Thief River Falls, MN Vocational Technical Schools. Paul served a 2 year tour of duty with the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. On returning, Paul worked for several companies before being diagnosed with nerve degeneration. He lived in the Veterans Domicilary in Hastings, MN for 24 years before being transferred to the Minnesota Veterans Nursing Home in Minneapolis. He is preceded in death by his father, Rev. Sigurd A. Urberg; Mother, Amy Yahr; brother Sigurd Urberg; brother Sofus Emil Urberg; sister, Amy Marie; brother-in-law, James Guthmiller. He is survived by two brothers, Martin Morbeck of Edina, and Peter Michael of Owatonna; and by many other relatives and friends. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
