Paul A. Albin

Paul A. Albin, age 51 of Hastings, died suddenly but peacefully at home on Wednesday morning, November 16, 2022.

Paul Albin, the son of Eldon and Mary (Keller) Albin, was born on September 2, 1971, in Rapid City, South Dakota. Following his graduation from Shakopee High School, Paul began his lifelong career in over-the-road trucking, a career Paul truly loved. Outside of working, Paul enjoyed cooking, especially his well-known Deviled Eggs, and driving his Mazda Miata around with the group. He also enjoyed listening to music, especially Van Halen and Joe Satriani, as well as playing his guitar. Most of all, he will always be known for having a large sarcastic sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Paul is survived by his son, Gabriel Albin; sisters, Susan Boller and Linda (Chris) Pass; nieces, Brittny Boller (Jon Forss) and Terran Boller; great nieces and nephews, Lydia, Luke, and Michael; and by his significant other, Thea Lillo.

A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Riverside Church in Hutchinson. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, and will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice in memory of Paul.
