Patrick James Heffernan

Patrick J. Heffernan, age 65, of St. Cloud, MN died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis. Patrick was born September 1, 1943 in St. Cloud to Norbert and Irene (Englert) Heffernan. He was a graduate of Central High School in Great Falls, MT and also the College of Great Falls. He had retired from Glacier Electric Supply Company in Butte, MT. Patrick was an avid sports fan, especially the Twins and Vikings. Preceded in death by his parents, Patrick is survived by his brother John (Sue) Heffernan of Rochester, MN; niece Catherine Heffernan; nephew Jason Heffernan; also 3 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew. The funeral service, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held at the CATURIA-SMIDT FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. 7th St, Hastings on September 26th, 10:00 A.M. Friday, with a visitation held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment with full military honors will follow in the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. The pallbearers are Jason Heffernan, Don Hanson, Michael Hanson, and Todd Nouis.
