Patricia "Patty" Langenfeld

Patricia E. “Patty” Langenfeld, age 72 of Hastings, died peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, May 25, 2021, at United Hospital in St. Paul. Patricia Elaine, the daughter of James and Elaine (Hammergren) Kearns, was born on November 5, 1948, in St. Paul. Following her graduation from Kellogg High School in St. Paul, Patty was a longtime employee at Control Data and later obtained her real estate license and sold property in the area. She had a love for horses and especially enjoyed riding English Style with Arabian Horses. Patty also enjoyed raising Shar-Pei dogs over the years and even had one featured in the Target commercials. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially caring for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shannon Childs; stepson, Patrick Langenfeld; brother, Jay Kearns; and by her husband, Stanley Langenfeld. Patricia is survived by her children, Kim Roper and Brandon (Kris) Mundinger; grandchildren, Christopher Clemow, Ally Childs, Emmy Childs, Hailie Roper, Bryton Roper, and Jake Spies; great grandson, Jayden Clemow; stepson, Kenneth (Danielle) Langenfeld and the entire Langenfeld family; and by many other relatives and friends.
