Patricia A. Schmitz

Patricia A. Schmitz, age 80, of Hastings, passed away September 8, 2011 at the Augustana Care Center in Hastings. She was born on July 25, 1931 in Marshan Township to John F. & Clara (Steffen) Judge. Pat worked for the Dakota County Sheriff's Department for 31 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, the American Legion Auxillary, St. Boniface, St. Mary's Society and the Regina Auxillary. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward J. Schmitz; siblings, Mary Jo Reuter; Kathleen Sobaskie; Margaret Denn; Owen Judge; John 'Jack' Judge; Kenneth 'Buck' Judge. She is survived by sisters, Sr. Florence Judge, R.S.M. of Baltimore, MD; Maxine (Marvin) Raway of Hastings; Charlotte Meier of Fredric, WI; many nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; other relatives & friends. Memorial Service will be held Saturday (9/10) 9:30 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings. Visitation one hour prior to mass at church. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth Raway; Kevin Raway; Joseph Denn; Robert Carlson; Owen J.
