Pastor Jim Bzoskie

Pastor James S. “Jim” Bzoskie, age 76 of Hastings, passed away suddenly yet peacefully on Friday morning, December 19, 2025. A devoted pastor, husband, father, and friend to many, Pastor Jim dedicated his life to serving the Lord and caring for others, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives through his faith, compassion, and leadership.

A Celebration of Pastor Jim's Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, with Pastor Kent Begnaud and Pastor Paris Pasch officiating. Private family interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings at a later date.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026. There will also be a visitation Saturday morning prior to the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. where all can gather for coffee and donuts just like Jim would want us to.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cornerstone Bible Church in Hastings or to the donor's choice in memory of Pastor Jim.
