Otto A. Ped

Otto A. Ped, age 86 of Rosemount died October 1, 2013 at his home. Otto was born April 17, 1927 in South St. Paul to Adolph and Bertha (Lemke) Peed. He served in the US Navy Seabees in the Pacific Theater during WWII. Otto married Marilyn Olson September 15, 1973 in Clear Lake, WI. He had worked as a farmer and real estate agent and enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Marilyn. Otto is survived by his daughters Kimberly Ped of Rosemount and Karin (Michael) Larson of Lakeville; granddaughter Emma; sister Grace Kuznia of Inver Grove Heights. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Randy Berg will be held 10 AM Friday, October 4, 2013 at Calvary Christian Church, 907 West Fifteenth St, Hastings. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment, with Military Honors provided by the Fort Snelling Memorial Rifle Squad will follow in National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Larson, Steven Olson, Roger Barrett, Tom Barrett, David Olson, and Kyle Barrett. Memorials are preferred to the Gideons International, Shriners Hospital for Children, or donor�s choice.
