Opal M. Swanson
Age 81 of Minnetonka, born February 2, 1941 in Tulare, CA to Darrell & Lucille Bryant, passed away peacefully at home, June 22, 2022.
Opal was active in the Bloomington VFW #1296 Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James.
Opal will be dearly missed by her loving sons: James T. (Claudia) Swanson, Jr., Randy Swanson, Dean Swanson, Doug Myers and Keith Swanson; grandchildren: Nicole, Natashia, Lauren, Andrew, Alyssa, Madison, Kaitlin, Sonya and Audrey; great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Bryant (Sue Wornstaff) and many other family and friends.
Memorial service, 10:00 AM, Friday, July 29, 2022 with a visitation one hour before at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis.
Opal will be laid to rest with her husband, James at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
