Peterson, Norman E., age 88 of Hastings, a man with many friends and loved ones, who kept us laughing throughout his life, passed away on December 19, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on May 1, 1922 to Thorvald & Verna Peterson in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Norman was Fighter Pilot for the Navy during WWII.He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; parents; brothers, Robert & Ralph.Norman is survived by his wife, Marilyn; sons, Greg (Jeri) Peterson; Garrett Peterson; Mark (Ricca) Peterson; step-children, William (Lauren) Weckman; Anne (Mark) Johnson; Grace (Ben) Albaujh; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; his first wife, Patricia; other relatives and friends.A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 3:00 P.M., at The United Methodist Church of Hastings, 615 W. 15th St., Hastings.
