Norbert J. Sieben

Norbert J. Sieben, age 89, of Hastings, passed away March 2, 2013. He was born in Hastings to William and Kate Sieben on July 24, 1923. He was a lifelong farmer who loved to dance on Saturday nights. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Sieben; son, Thomas Sieben; and daughter in law, Dora Sieben. He is survived by his wife, Loubelle; sons, Bill (Mary);Jim; Rich (Karleen); Bernie (Nancy); Bob (Sue); John (Roxanne) and daughter, Kathy (Jim) Murray; 28 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; and brother, Fred (Nan) Sieben.A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Stan Mader, will be held on Tuesday, March 5, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 106 W. Main St., Vermillion, MN. A visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at church. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.
