Naoma M. Mike

Naoma M. Mike, age 83 of Hastings, died peacefully on Friday morning, May 21, 2021, at Regina Senior Living in Hastings. Naoma May, the daughter of Alfred and Gertrude (Stone) Boyea, was born on January 10, 1938, in Fairchild, Wisconsin. Following her education, Naoma was blessed with seven wonderful, amazing, beautiful children. She was a longtime employee at Gemini in Cannon Falls until her retirement. Naoma enjoyed being active in her quilting groups, attending art classes, crocheting, knitting, and spending time with her cats, most recently Gemma. She was a simple woman who cherished the time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Gertrude; sisters, Hope and Edith; daughter, Deb Clark; and by her cat, Muffin. Naoma is survived by her seven children, Robyn LeBarron, Susan (Ray) Anaya, Mary (Gavin) Almeida, Robert Winkel, Jessica (Tony) Starr, and Angela (Paul Bryant) Judge; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; longtime friends for over seventy-years, Ruth and Pete Silva; and by many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Naoma's Life will be held at a later date. Naoma's family would like to give a special thank you to all of her dear friends at Oak Ridge, and the Staff at Regina Senior Living for all of the love and care everyone provided to Naoma over the years. Also, thank you to Grace Hospice for your tender care and guidance you provided during Naoma's final days. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
