Mitchell Dean Cooper

Mitchell D. Cooper, age 26, of Apple Valley, passed away on November 14, 2025. Born on December 30, 1998, Mitchell grew up in Apple Valley and graduated from Eastview - School of Environmental Studies in 2017. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience.

He had a great understanding of the human psyche and had a passion for studying the human experience, always chasing life’s biggest questions. He impacted others’ lives by being fully present and giving them all of the attention, love, and advice when needed. He loved to read, write, and draw, and he spent time outdoors recharging through nature. Mitchell’s greatest gift was his ability to connect with others and the world through his positive energy and pure love.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Cooper. Survived by his mother, Beth (Cooper) Jensen; stepfather, John Jensen; brothers, Alexander (Alejandra), Cole, and Grant; step-sister, Brianna Jensen; and many, many loved ones.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 at River Valley Church, 14898 Energy Way, Door C, Apple Valley, Minnesota, with a visitation one hour prior, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., at the church. A reception will follow at the church.
