Mirella K. Maurus, age 93, of Hastings, died Saturday, November 3, 2012.She was born November 7, 1918 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Joseph Nicholas and Anna M. (Marthaler) Ernster.Mirella married Lawrence Maurus on November 5, 1955. Mr. Maurus died October 27, 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter Judy Graeber and 9 siblings.Mirella is survived by her children Frances Anderson of Onamia, Katherine (Ron) McMullen of Waseca, Ellen Graeber of Savage, Lawrence (Mary) Maurus of St. Paul and John Maurus of Hastings; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a brother Lawrence Ernster of Oregon. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Cole Krackewill be held at Noon onWednesday, November 7, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth St. West, Hastings with a visitation heldtwo hours prior to the funeral at church. Intermentwill follow in theCalvary Cemetery, St. Paul. The pallbearers are Dylan Romain, John Maurus, Nicholas Maurus, Jeremy Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Eric Maurus, and Mario Graeber.
