Milfred Alexander Langseth

Langseth, Milfred Alexander WWII Vet, age 89, passed May 12, at home surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by parents, Melvin Langseth & Alma Shields; sisters, Elvira, Lorraine and Jane; nephew, Joe Zurbay. He is survived by his children, John (Diane) Langseth, Carol (Philip) Marron and William Langseth; grandchildren, Patrick, Amy and Joan Marron; nieces and nephews, Susan, John, Dennis, Marilyn and Robin. Mel enjoyed nature, gardening and weekend retreats at his lake getaway near Aitkin, MN. He was proud of his six years of service as a U.S. Marine, especially his participation in the liberation of Guam. He loved dancing and all forms of music from waltzes and polkas to rock and roll. His family will miss his sense of humor and love of adventure. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Tuesday, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S. with visitation one hour before. Interment Ft. Snelling with luncheon to follow.
