Mildred "Millie" G. Dokken

Mildred 'Millie' Dokken, age 82 passed away February 19, 2008 at the Inver Grove Good Samaritan Center in Inver Grove Heights. Millie was active in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church as a council member, long time choir member and the music librarian. She was an avid bird watcher and an animal lover. Millie loved playing Scrabble, crosswords and traveling.Preceded in death by, husband, Glen; son, Steven R. Dokken, brother, Stanley C. Gilbert, parents, Charles and Violet Gilbert; aunt and best friend, Grace White. Survived by, daughter, Carol (John) Carr of Marietta, GA; son, Eric Dokken of West St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, John and Rachel Carr; brother, James (Bette) Gilbert of Detroit Lakes, MN; sister, Janet Bjorum of Yuma, AZ; niece, Jene (Greg) Leiner and their children, Margot, Tessa and Griffin. Other Nieces and Nephews. Memorial Service Friday 1:00 PM at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church 400 W. 9th Street in Hastings with a gathering 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Good Samaritan Center 1301 50th Street East Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077.
