Midge Mary C. Knoll

Mary C. 'Midge' Knoll, age 86, of Hastings, passed away peacefully June 2, 2010 at Augustana Health Care Center of Hastings. Mary was born Oct. 9, 1923 in Hastings to Isadore and Ophelia Huberty . She married Raymond Knoll on May 18, 1946 in Hastings at St. Boniface Catholic Church. She was a proud member of the Woman's Army Corp (WAC), serving during WWII, and a member St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.Midge is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sr.; brothers, Isadore Jr. and Charles Huberty. She is survived by her sons, Raymond (Carol) Knoll of Hastings; Charles (Linda) Knoll of Hastings; and David (Margaret) Knoll of West St. Paul; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Bauer; Regina 'Jane' Doorak; Rita Murphy; Barb (Bill) Lundberg; Cheryl (Larry) Murtaugh; brother, Paul (Margaret) Huberty; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday (6/5), 11:00 a.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation 2 hours prior to mass at church. Interment St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. The pallbearers are her grandsons, Andrew Knoll; Daniel Knoll; Peter Knoll; Michael Knoll; Mark Knoll; and Ryan Knoll. The Wise Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
