Michael V. Jenson

On Friday, September 16th, 2022, Michael Vernon Jenson, beloved husband, brother and uncle passed away at the age of 73.

Born in Red Wing, Minnesota, to Vernon C and Lois (Metzger) Jenson in 1949. He graduated from Hastings High School and the University of Minnesota. He was a longtime resident of Hastings, Minnesota.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Jessica Jenson; and brother in law, William Barker Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret (Peggy); siblings, Jack (Jean) Jenson and Jill Barker; niece, Janna Jenson; nephew, Joshua (Lindsay) Jenson; great-nieces, Willow and Seda. He will also be missed by his many friends, especially the breakfast club.

He was a skilled artisan who focused his talent on creating stained glass and wood block prints.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 am with a visitation1 hour prior to the service.

Interment, Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings.
